Plugin installation

Here you can find the instructions to install the Co-Inform Plugin Extension on your browser.

This browser plugin is part of a project with the aim to raise citizens’ awareness of fully or partially misinforming content, of related fact-checking articles and corrective information, of average citizens’ perceptions towards this content, and of key pro and against comments from fellow citizens.

This extension (plugin) is compatible with the browsers:

    • Google Chrome
    • Mozilla Firefox
    • Opera

The plugin interface automatically uses the user browser configured language, and it is available in the following languages:

    • English, Swedish, Greek, Spanish, French, Italian, Catalan

The latest release of the Co-Inform Plugin Extension is the 5.1 Beta version. As it is not a commercial version, it has not been published on any browsers extensions store, so to install and test the plugin, it needs to be installed through the special development mode.

The plugin installable package is a ZIP compressed file, containing the files needed to install the browser plugin on the previous commented browsers. It can be downloaded by clicking the following link: Download.
